Development of Integrated Liquid Cooling Joint Actuators for Humaniod Robot Applications

Excessive heat generation in joint modules of humanoid robots severely restricts their long-duration and high-load operation. Therefore, it is essential to investigate active cooling technologies for robotic joint modules. Relevant technology stacks have also been adopted by numerous competing humanoid robots in the 2026 Humanoid Robot Marathon, including Honor Company’s “Lightning” and the “Tiangong” developed by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center.
